On June 1 some public transport stops will be transferred for passengers’ convenience. Public transport schedules will be also changed according to the passenger flow

The transfer will mostly affect public transport stops in 13 janvāra Street, on the way from the city centre. Their location so far has not been optimal and caused inconveniences to passengers, as public transport running in one direction stopped at different stops. The transfer of stops follows a serious study and takes account of passengers’ wishes.

We recommend passengers using bus routes No. 3, 4, 4z, 7, 8, 10, 21, 23, 25, 26, 30, 35, 38, 39, 43, 54 and 55, as well as trolleybus routes No. 9 and 27 to pay particular attention to the transfer of stops.

On June 1 the following bus stop will be renamed so that passengers could better find their way in the city:

The bus stop Post office of buses No. 10,12,18,23,25,51,52 and 55 will be renamed Elizabetes Street in direction from Abrenes Street.

On June 1, following passengers’ requests, the following new public transport stops will be opened:

a new stop, Višķu Street (trolleybus terminal), will be opened on bus route No. 18 in direction to the city centre, but bus stop Customs (in direction to the city centre) will be closed;

a new stop, Ļermontova Street, will be opened on bus routes No. 4, 4z, 21, 38, 39, 46 (on the way from the city centre) and on trolleybus route No. 5 (on the way to the city centre), but stop Lapu Street will be closed for road traffic safety reasons;

a new stop, Sila Street, will be opened on bus route 47 in direction from the city centre;

a new stop, Railway Terminal Square, will be opened on bus route No. 7 in direction from the city centre;

a new stop, Elizabetes Street, will be opened on bus routes No. 23 and 26 in direction from the city centre.

On bus route No. 48 bus stop Gatartas Street will be closed in direction to Pļavnieki cemetery due to its inefficient location and for road traffic safety reasons.

On June 1, schedules of some tram, trolleybus and bus routes will be changed in accordance to passenger flow.

Buses

Workday schedules will be changed for bus routes No. 4, 4.z, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 14, 23, 25, 26, 30, 32, 37, 41, 43, 46, 48, 51, 52 and 53.

Holiday schedules will be changed for bus routes No. 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 12, 20, 25, 32, 43, 46, 48, 51 and 52.

Trolleybuses

Workday schedules will be changed for trolleybus routes No. 1, 3, 13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 22, 23 and 24.

Holiday schedules will be changed for trolleybus routes No. 1, 11, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23 and 24.

Trams

Workday schedules will be changed for tram routes No. 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10 and 11.

Holiday schedules will be changed for tram routes 4, 5, 6, 7 and 11.
